Spier is a tourist's delight: cheetahs, raptor rehab project, wine, picnics, amphitheatre entertainment, the Jonkershuis Cape cuisine restaurant, and Moyo: a bohemian mix of open-air tents, bars, performing stages and tree houses where wandering musicians and dancers entertain tourists and locals alike whilst they feast on a huge buffet. Face-painters, jugglers, singers and at night the trees are lit up with hundreds of lanterns, transforming into an "African Disneyland". Wonderful ambience.
